Yoga days ahead..
Oh dear - I really though that I would approve my yoga practice significally when moving to Asia - and though I have been to yoga class atleast once a week which is not to bad- lately has been more about cocktails than backbendings. Time for a change! This weekend I am attending the Asia Yoga Conference 2011. Hoping for great classes and inspiration!
My fist class tomorrow is with Ashley Turner and is called 5 Yogic Ways to Happiness- check out her website below:
Namaste, will report the progress. Peace and love!

The Asia Yoga Conference 9-12 June
Yayaaay ehis could come at a better time! I am so excited to get reinspired with my yoga practice. Today is the deadline for registration, I am aiming for 3 whole days of classes and lectures.

Organic Raw Maca Powder
So this is my latest investment - I acctually went to Just Green on Graham Street to get some multivitamines since I have been so tiered lately. After a chat with the staff I came out with Maca powder instead. The Maca root gas been used as a stress-fighting adaptigen to increase stamina and combat fatigue. Maca is a nutrient-dense whole food packed with vitamines, plant sterols as well as many essential mierals, fatty and amino acids (all according to the package).
Well this sounds perfect! I am not the biggest fan of the taste (only just tried in my morning smoothie today....) but will hopefully get better along with vital results.

Green smoothie breakfasts and affirmations
I absolutely love my current reading - The Crazy Sexy Diet by Kris Carr that I wrote about earlier this weekend. She totally inpired me to get back on track with my green smoothies and I will have them for breakfast all day this week. Todays version had spinach, banana, mango, water and maca powder (uuu not my favorite taste, it better work against tierdness as promised...). Also, the book contains a 21 day cleanse that has a daily affirmation. I love them!
Day ones affirmation is the following: I am capable, confident, intelligent, resilient and in charge. Health and happiness are my birthrights and I accept with gratitude.
Champagne brunch
Balance, balance, balance. Finished off a great weekend with an amazing free flow brunch at Le Parlour. It was absolutely perfect. Everything you can imagine, from french mini pain au chocolat (a favorite...), cheeses to die for, amazing salmon, oysters and a dessert table worth the name. Highly recommended!
Le Parlour is at located at the Kowloon side, adess 2A Hullett House, very close to the ferry terminal. Brunch including free flow champagne and a perfect sized main was 528 HK + 10% service fee.
For lunch today
...actually my favorite dinner -today for lunch. Quinoa, broccoli, half a life salad with hummus and seeds, and some tofu. Along with the orange mango juice superyummy! Everything from Life Cafe in Soho for a total of HKD 118 and then I still have half of the food left for dinner. Did some running and a bodypump class before, when is food ever better than after the gym? For the rest of the day off, I will continue to relax and read. With Love

Sunday - planning and shopping day!
New week and new possibilities! Next week I will take advantage of the public holiday on monday to do a nice hike, a mani/pedi and maybe a yoga class and a massage. I really need to look after myself after a stressful week! My plan for the week is to try the green smoothie for breakfast. I picked up some nice fruits at Graham street, papaya (6HKD!!) and mango, that I will use along with spinach and maca powder that I also got a Just Green (more about that later) since I have been so tiered lately. Today I just had the BEST sunday with friends, never forget how much the means for energy and happiness.
The above fruits for HKD 123!

...and the filobakes!
Veggie Ceasar at Life Cafe
Oh Life cafe, how I love, love, LOVE you. Countless brunches, juicebreaks and take-out dinners later, I have tried almost everything on the menu. However, not yet the ceasar! Thats normally nit my favorite salad, but worth I try I fugured - and it sure was! Absolutely delish with scrambles tofu, veggie bacon, parmesan cheese and a dressing to die for! A very good choice!
Healthy lunch at...Starbucks?
I finished some work at Starbucks at Alexandra House and it got lunchtime right in the middle of it. Are there any good choice there? YES! I had an OJ and the roasted vegetable salad with a english breakfast soy latte no sugar. The salad was actually superyummy for being pre-made with roasted pumpkin and potatoes, chickpeas, pine nuts ad roasted pepper. Along with a balsamic dressing. And very affordable, 87 HKD for the entire feast.
